In the morning! O yes, it’s the best time to meet with God. In the morning you can seize the day with God’s presence, perspective and power. In the morning you can look out over the whole day and prayerfully plan and prepare for all you have to do. O believer, involve God early in the day. Think of it. You open those eyes and God is waiting! He’s there. As Jeremiah says, "His mercies are new every morning!" This is the time you can "power up," get in the Word, listen to God, worship, intercede and do some mighty spiritual warfare! In the morning, in a quiet place, be there with God. He is faithful, dear friend. "Come near to God and He will come near to you!" God doesn’t have to get up; He is always present, always there. Our verse for today says, "You hear my voice;" Yes, God does hear you! He does listen. Think of it, Christian. The Lord Jesus, high and lifted up to the highest place, listens to you, hears you. He knows you; He knows your voice. Go ahead lay those requests before Him. List your desires lift those Spirit led prayers!

Lord, I give you my commitment to meet you daily in a special time. O God, I will seek you in the morning!
