Third Month Theme – "Knowing Jesus"
Meeting With God Daily
April 7, 2000
Psalm 95:1-2
"Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song."

Now, you can go over this chapter again, focusing on verses 1 and 2 - a call to be alive in Christ, a call to draw near to God, to proclaim Him in song. I have heard of the old song, "Twist and Shout" and many did. Here is a new song for those alive in Christ, alive to God! "Sing and shout!" "Sing for joy to the Lord," O what a delight this is to God. You, dear Christian, are now in the Spirit. You are a temple of God’s presence. When you unleash your singing to and about Him, the Holy Spirit will lift you up. It is a powerful fellowship, a place where the river of God’s new life, in you, runs deep. (See John 7:34-35.) Will you sing today? Will you rejoice in Jesus? Will you remind yourself and proclaim truth in your song today? "All Hail the Power of Jesus name, let angels prostrate fall, bring forth the royal diadem and crown him LORD OF ALL." O this hymn "ROCKS" – sing, dear Christian, sing. Don’t focus on your troubles; focus on the trouble-shooter! The Spirit of God will help you sing and shout His praise. This truth will fill your heart, your faith will rise, your fellowship with God will be sweet and will be filled with awesome power. O sing, sing dear Christian, today.

Let’s Pray:
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to thee, how great thou art, how great thou art – HALLELUJAH!!!
