Prayer changes things! Prayer can bring miracles! What an awesome possibility; God answering you and bringing about the desired request. How’s your prayer life? Did you know God designed prayer to "work?" He designed it to be a thing of joy and success! He planned to answer prayers, not make it hard and dry. Prayer is being in the very presence of God and requesting from Him, a willing and generous God of grace, needs. Prayer helps others find Christ. It protects, helps and tramples the devil’s work. Here in this verse, Jesus lays out the earth shaking (See Acts 4:31.) possibilities but there are conditions, conditions that are joyfully and willfully met by believers who love Jesus. Jesus says IF you remain (stay) in Him and His Word (stays) in you, ask whatever you desire. This little word "remain" means to "stay with" or "welcome something." Do you welcome Him? Is Jesus welcome in your life? If you welcome Him, you will welcome His Word. Oh Christian, love Him and His Word. Cling to His Word; obey it in joy, with ZEAL. If you do, Jesus says the heavens are open to you and prayer miracles are a moment away.
