"It may seem strange, but being in the will of God is very far removed from
just doing what God wants us to do-- so far removed, in fact, that we can be
solidly in the will of God, and be aware that we are, without knowing God's
preference with regard to various details of our lives." -- Dallas Willard,
Hearing God

This Sunday evening we'll continue our study of the life and teachings of
Jesus found in the New Testament book of Luke. Last week we saw how the
crowds following Jesus were growing exponentially. With growth would come new
temptations. In Luke 12:1-34 Jesus told those who wanted to follow Him to
beware of three things: hypocrisy, greed, and anxiety. This week we'll study
one more thing Jesus told His disciples to beware of and it's something many
of us in Nashville struggle with: Spiritual Lethargy born from Spiritual
Cynicism. I hope you will make plans to join us for this interesting study.

The Village Chapel is a relationship oriented, non-denominational church that
meets on Sunday evenings at 6 pm for worship. We meet in the atrium room high
atop the Hampton Inn on Crestmoor Rd, just off Hillsboro Rd in Green
Hills/Nashville. Loving child care is provided.

On Wednesday evenings, we also sponsor The Village Bible study which meets in
the Hillsboro Village/Nashville area where we're currently studying the Old
Testament book of Exodus.
