| Hello Choir buddies! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. As always - thank you for your kind words and support of The Choir and our website. Should you need to change address or unsubscribe from the list simply reply back with your instructions. Congratulations to the three winners of the first Choir website contest. Eric Townsend, Will Steffenauer and Timothy Tebordo came if first, second and third respectively. Thanks to all that participated in getting friends and family to sign up to our email newsletter. Website Updates: Steve Hindalong's "Skinny" record has been added to the Listen section of our site. You can now hear each song in it's entirety on RealAudio and samples of each song on MP3 format. Stop by when you can and give a listen to Steve's record if you haven't heard it before - it's cool! News: We have decided to re-record Beautiful Scandalous Night (from AT The Foot Of The Cross Vol. 1) for our new Choir record. While Steve and Derri where always pleased with the original, we thought we'd do the definitive Choir version on our new set. We start recording this weekend. The entire Speckled Bird record is up on MP3.com for free download. Go to http://www.mp3.com/thechoir and help put The Choir on the charts by downloading some songs this week. We have agreed to have our Cornerstone 2000 live show recorded by M8 Productions. If none of us pass out at the show from not performing very often - and the sound turns out good, then look for a release of the concert in the Fall. M8 will also be recording the Gene Eugene/Adam Again tribute concert. In addition, there will be a 3 camera video taping. If all turns out well, we will release a CD and video of the show in the Fall. Performers scheduled to participate include the Adam Again band, Mike Roe, Mike Knott, Derri Daugherty, Ojo Taylor, Dan Michaels, Andy Prickett, Terry Taylor and others. That's all for now. Please say a prayer for us from time to time. Lift up our families and ask God to keep us focused on Christ and attentive to His will. Love, Dan Michaels |
