Journal update Matthew 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. All right, but no, we havent made any progress on our album beyond that first weekend. Nevertheless, we will, we will! And Im not sure when -- maybe this Wednesday. Derri says he has a couple more musical ideas. As soon as we get back to it Ill let ya know. By the way, thanks for the encouraging e-mail, everyone! Were enjoying the interaction! A lot is going on, requiring a good deal of our time. Most specifically, Ill be producing an album for Essential Records called, City on A Hill featuring various artists, including -- Jars, Caedmons, Third Day, Sixpence and others. Itll be worshipful and thematic, not unlike our At The Foot Of The Cross albums. Derri will be engineering the project and contributing creatively, so Im really looking forward to it. After all these years, theres still no one Id rather be in the studio with. So, anyhow, Ive been focussing on getting songs written for City on a Hill. Were scheduled to start recording on 1/10/2000. Ill keep you posted if youre interested. And dont worry, well get back to the new Choir album in a jiffy! Steve 12/13/99 |
